Brotherwood Coffee Co. is a non-profit organization that fosters compassion, resilience, and empowerment while ensuring access to support and resources for suicide prevention. Through the selling bags of coffee, are able to foster interactions and create communities where compassion is abundant, resilience is nurtured, and everyone has access to the help they need.
I was brought in to redesign their website as well as their coffee packaging to revitalize their overall look and feel to allow them to expand their digital and physical presence throughout the community at large. The overall identity was refreshed to include a more diverse color palette, updated typographic specimens, and the use of more graphical elements such as topographic wood grain, stamps, and zigzag decorative borders to give the identity a summer-camp vibe. These elements are brought over to the new coffee bag design as well as the new ecommerce website.
We redesigned the website with these ideas in mind. The driving factors of the website was to sell medium-roast coffee, getting donations and subscriptions, and to educate people about the organization. We designed various education pages by showcasing how Brotherwood helps the community by enabling access, developing confidence, building resilience, and empowering others. We also designed various product pages that capture the essence of the product, further incentivizing people to want to contribute to the organization.
