Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center is a medium-sized hospital in Grayson County, Kentucky. Located between Rough River Lake and Nolin River Lake, they serve over 115,000 people living in six counties. They reached out to me through Imagewest because they wanted to reach more people through social channels through digital advertising.
Twin Lakes recently took on new management. They had been a client of Imagewest for a half of a year up to this point, where the agency created digital banner ads and social ads for the hospital. The new management wanted to overhaul the marketing materials for the hospital so they decided to do a rebrand of their identity system. While they wanted to keep the logo design and their primary blue color, they wanted a refreshed look that was reliable, honest, and progressive.
I was tasked to update their marketing collateral to go alongside the hospital's in-house marketing department campaign "Your Home. Your Health." This included color palette adjustments, new typography, a visual identity built around custom 3D wave textures, gradient overlays, and custom and stock photography. These elements were then transferred over to print and digital collateral. The new system is reliable, sophisticated, honest, and progressive. With this new system in place, it can be applied to print and digital advertising, events, and in-house stationery while maintaining consistency and cohesion throughout all of their advertising.
Newspaper ads, magazine ads, billboards, booklets, and brochures were created in a large campaign to make it more attractive for larger hospitals. Special events using the identity system were held during the holiday season such as the "Lights of Love" event which took place on December 19, 2019, and the "Twin Lakes Health Fair" which took place on February 23, 2020. In April of 2020, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center was purchased by Owensboro Health, and the branding that I helped design was a component of making them attractive to get bought out by Owensboro Health.
